Alaska Backcountry Safari
Seven-Day Wildland Safari

Day 1 - Meet your Trip Leader at the Kenai Airport. Afternoon scenic float on the mild Kenai River. Orientation, welcome dinner, and overnight at Kenai Riverside Lodge.

Day 2 - Day hike in the Chugach National Forest or the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Dinner and overnight at Kenai Riverside Lodge.

Day 3 - Travel to Talkeetna. Flightseeing near Mt. McKinley (Denali) and shopping in Talkeetna. Dinner and overnight at a local family-run inn.

Day 4 - 5-6 hour Denali Backcountry wildlife drive inside Denali National Park. Dinner and overnight at Denali Backcountry Lodge.

Day 5 & 6 - Two full days of hiking, exploration, mountain biking, and gold panning in the Kantishna region of Denali National Park. Dinner and overnight at Denali Backcountry Lodge.

Day 7 - Morning wildlife drive to the Park entrance. Board the historic Alaska Railroad for Anchorage, arriving at about 8:30 p.m.
