A very informative 3 hour sightseeing tour of Anchorage.  Your Alaskan Guide will inform you about the Alaskan Railroad, mysterious Earthquake Park, Lake Hood (the largest floatplane base in the world), and many other historical areas.  This tour includes 1 hour at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.

Tour price includes narrated highway transportation from Anchorage to Portage Glacier area, the one hour cruise to Portage Glacier and the side trip into Big Game Alaska Wildlife Park.

Scenic Jet Boat Safari!

The Jet Boat travels up 20-mile River to a turn point about 9 miles up river, then up the Glacier River all the way to Carmen Lake water levels permitting! Guides pause at points of interest and to point out wildlife etc. River has both deep channels with green banks and evidence of beaver, bear and moose (and an eagle nest) as well as wider gravel sections with expansive vistas where you will have the opportunity to disembark from the jet boat and have a look around on shore for animal tracks, go fishing, have a picnic, etc. The alpine Carmen Lake is the jewel feature of the area with a steely-blue color and Glaciers abound. Under USFS Permit. Group rates available.

Our Fishing Tour:
We operate on the 20-mile river and adjoining tributaries. The staging location is about 40 mile south of anchorage making for ease of access. The journey from the river mouth is into a road less wilderness.

Gear:
This is an all-weather activity. We supply basic fishing gear, hip waiders, etc.

Picnic:
Leave this up to us. Count on hearty Alaskan fare. We bet you will like it.

Group Size:
For all of our activities we generally run with up to 6 or 8 persons per boat, depending on the number of children. We have the capacity for groups up to 24.

Time Requirement:
About 8 hours door to door.
Age Limit / Personal Service: Due to the size and personal service we provide, it is possible to accommodate all ages and special needs guests. Common sense should lead to you to organize your own small group or family in a manner whereby all can both participate and enjoy wild Alaska. After that, our guides will just role with the punches!
