Southcentral Region Full Day Bear Viewing
TBD per person
Spend a wonderful day with an experienced guide watching the bears in their natural environment.
The day starts with a courtesy van shuttle from the hotel to our facility on Lake Hood. We use specialized floatplanes to fly out across Cook Inlet and cruise along the Alaska Range for an opportunity to see spectacular alpine glaciers, volcanoes, and some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.
After landing at our bearviewing location, your guide and our pilot will settle you into the guide boat for a day of exploration and some once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities. There are no fences or boardwalks in this part of Alaska. Raw Alaskan scenery and wildlife in their natural environment provide the means for an authentic Alaskan experience.
Touring the area with your guide and boat, you will watch as the bears feed and frolic in one of their traditional salmon spawning streams. Enjoy a hearty picnic lunch as you see some of North America's largest mammals gorge themselves on Sockeye salmon.
In the late afternoon, our floatplane and pilot will return to bring you back to Anchorage with stories that add color to any Alaskan travel itinerary.
