Day 1 - Anchorage to Denali - Travel North by rail with the Alaska Railroad to Denali National Park, home of Mt. McKinley North America's tallest mountain, where you will overnight.

Day 2 - Morning Wildlife Tour - During the 6-8 hour wildlife tour into Denali Park watch for bears, moose, caribou, wolves and more. Weather permitting you will be able to view the 'Great One", Denali.

Day 3 – Denali to Anchorage - Return to Anchorage that evening through some of the most scenic country in the world.

Tour Includes: Denali Park Wildlife Bus Tour, two-nights hotel accommodations, and round-trip guided transportation from Anchorage(one-way rail and one-way bus).

Denali National Park & Talkeetna
3 days/ 2 nights   TBD per person

Day 1 - Anchorage to Talkeetna - Tour north of Anchorage by bus to the historic miners and trappers town of Talkeetna.  This afternoon choose from a choice of two tours: 1.) 1 hour Mt. McKinley Flightseeing OR 2.) 3.5 hour scenic jetboat excursion. Overnight at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.

Day 2 – Talkeetna to Denali - This morning is free to explore Talkeetna. At 11:25 AM board the Alaska Railroad for the scenic rail ride north to Denali National Park. Arrive Denali at 3:45 PM. Overnight at the Denali Bluffs Hotel.

Day 3 - Morning Wildlife Tour, Denali to Anchorage - This morning take the 7 – 8 hour Tundra Wildlife Tour into Denali Park.  Watch for grizzly bears, moose, caribou, wolves, fox, eagles and other Alaskan Treasures. Includes a snack lunch. Return to Anchorage this afternoon by bus.

2 days/1 night   TBD per person

Day 1 - Anchorage to Denali - Travel North by rail with the Alaska Railroad to Denali National Park, home of Mt. McKinley North America's tallest mountain, where you will overnight.

Travel north on the Glenn and Parks Highway from Anchorage to the historic town of Talkeetna. On the way, you'll visit the Native Village of Eklutna and the Iditarod Dog Sled Race Headquarters. Continue to Talkeetna where you can choose a 3.5 hour jetboat safari OR a 1 hour Mt. McKinley flightseeing adventure.

$103.50 Denali National Park Wildlife Tour - 2 tours daily, 6:00am and 3:00pm, 7 hours in length, traveling into the park 50 miles.  Excellent opportunities to see bear, moose, Dall Sheep, and caribou. If you are leaving on the southbound train to Anchorage, you will not be able to do the 6:00 am wildlife tour since the train departs at 12:30 pm. The southbound Gray Line Bus leaves at 2:00 pm and that would allow you to do the 6:00 am wildlife tour.

$139.00 Kantishna Roadhouse Tour is a narrated 93 miles into the park.
Depart the Park Entrance Hotels at 7:00 am and travel the entire park road with an experienced naturalist. You will be provided a buffet lunch at noon at the lodge. You'll have time to pan for gold, relax along the creek, or explore historic Kantishna. Return to the Park entrance at 3:00 pm arriving in time for your evening meal.

Optional Activities in Fairbanks

$59.00 City Tour by Gray Line of Alaska
Included are stops at Gold Dredge #8, the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, and the University of Alaska Museum. Departure times: Daily, May 1-31 and Sept. 16-30 at 9:00am. June 1-Sept. 15 at 9:00 am and 2:30 pm.

$29.00 Alaska Salmon Bake - Enjoy salmon, halibut, ribs, salad bar, sourdough rolls, and blueberry cake. Transfers from most hotels are included.

Train from Anchorage to Denali Park
June 3 to Sept. 4 $120 one way $240 round trip
May 13 to June 2 & Sept. 5 to Sept. 23 $94 one way $192 round trip.
Check in time at the Alaska Railroad Train Station is 7:30 am. The train departs at 8:15 am. It is an 8 hour ride to Denali Park.

Train from Fairbanks to Denali Park
June 3 to Sept. 4 $48 one way $96 round trip
May 13 to Jun 2 & Sept. 5 to Sept. 23 $38 one way and $78 round trip
Check in time is 7:30 am. It is a 4 hour ride to Denali Park.

Bus
Beginning late May through mid-September one-way fare to Denali Park is $78 , round trip $156. The bus will depart the following Hotels between 7:30 am-8:00 am, Hilton, Captain Cook, Sheraton, Westmark. It is a 6 hour ride to Denali Park on the bus.

Air Taxi
It is a 1 1/2 hour flight to Denali Park in a small plane that will land at the air strip next to the train station in Denali Park. Your flight up will include a tour of Mt. Mckinley. All flights are weather dependent and we will know the weather forecast by 7:00 am in Anchorage if optional transportation is needed. Price per person is $250 for 2 passengers in a party and $210 for 3,4, and 5 in a party. Departure time is up to you.
