The Nushagak River in Alaska boasts major runs of King, Red, Silver, Chum and Pink Salmon along with trophy-sized Rainbow. The Nushagak River and its surrounding areas are also habitat for bald eagles, bear, moose, caribou, wolves, and other Alaskan wildlife.

Day Fishing/Fly-In

Only have a day to fish? Fly-in! Don't fight the busy roads! Why experiment? We know the fly-in hot spots!!! Seaplane accessible lakes and streams offer the greatest variety. Depending on season, fight for Rainbow Trout, All Salmon Species.

Here's how: our courtesy van hotel pickup is approximately 7:00 a.m. Outfitting with fishing gear is at our Lake Hood seaplane base. Step aboard your Seaplane and flightsee to remote streams or lakes. Ask your pilot for helpful fishing tips and hot spots. After aerial briefing, angle the lakes from your outboard motorboat or work the shallow streams in hipboots. Take the day at your own pace. In the afternoon, your pilot returns to take you and your fish back to Lake Hood!!!

First by road to Whittier, Alaska and then aboard one of our first class charter vessels fishing for a combination of Alaska Halibut, Salmon, Ling Cod, Yellow Eye, Rock Fish and Shark!

Name your species!!! With over 40 rustic OUTPOST cabins, tent cabins and camps.  Be your own guide!!! Every variety of fish is available depending upon seasons Rainbow Trout / Dolly Varden / Grayling / Great Northern Pike / All Salmon Species / Halibut.  Select the location depending upon seasons, type of fish available and fishing style desired - spin or fly fishing.  Fly into the heart of seaplane country to your private outpost cabin / tent cabin / camp. Selection includes fishing clearwater lakes with boat and motor provided, wading the shallow streams in hipboots, or a combo of the best of each.  Remote wilderness away from the busy highways.  Ask your pilot about fishing conditions, boat and motor operation. Fish at your own pace, cook your own food on the gas stove, swap fishing stories around the camp fire at night. Three days of fishing ending with moose viewing during your Flightsee to Lake Hood.

Tranquil waters excellent for all experience levels or try more challenging, faster streams. We help you select one of dozens of streams depending on fish type and rafting experience desired. Prices vary with remoteness. Board your floatplane for a 30 minute to 2 hour flight, depending on stream selection, to the headwaters, pump up your raft and climb aboard!!  Float, work the shallow streams. Unparalleled fishing variety: Salmon, Trout, Grayling. Camp on grass banked gravel bars. Pan fry those fish around the campfire. Fish and float at your own pace. wildlife viewing. We provide maps, briefing, full outfitting.

Houseboats

The Prince William Sound is probably the most beautiful and remote part of Alaska and our choice - remote saltwater lagoons with a variety of saltwater species available: salmon, halibut, cod, rockfish, and more! Our houseboats are anchored in the more remote bays of the Prince William Sound glacier studded mountain backdrop, and are positioned to follow the different salmon runs. These unique floating cabins come equipped with shower, flush toilet, refrigerator, and skiffs with outboards, making them ideal for families and sportsmen alike! Fish deep for halibut, fish from the skiff for salmon, wade the shallow stream and try that fly rod!!! Access the shoreline for beachcombing, berry picking or drop a pot for shrimp for the barbecue each night. View bald eagles, bears, goats, sea otters, seals, porpoises, and an occasional whale in their natural setting.
